One of the best, yet most dangerous, places to ski off-piste in Telluride remains Bear Creek. Bear Creek is the breathtakingly beautiful valley off of the Revelation Bowl chair lift. The views are absolutely spectacular and the skiing is like being dropped off on a peak by a helicopter.
Recently, the ski area has decided to offer paid ski tours into Bear Creek. A great way for skiers without backcountry experience or knowledge to drop in and make some great turns.
